2025 Season: Safety over Surf
Surf lessons temporarily cancelled due to ocean conditions
H.B.S.C ocean safety awareness classes are now available, offering a comprehensive 2-hour session for $50 per person. With no limit on attendees and open to all ages and abilities, this class aims to promote a safer understanding of the ocean. To ensure a secure next adventure, consider enrolling your team today. The class curriculum encompasses fundamental beach etiquette and safety, ocean awareness and marine life safety, basic beach medical kit preparation, rip current training, marine life warning identifiers, and zones of depth, as well as understanding distances from the beach for safe travel. All funds raised will be put towards Operation Man O' War. Please share the love đź’•

Instructor Rabbi€ has 27 years of experience teaching snowboarding and skateboarding. He took these skills to a surfing style he created, known as freestyle darkwater surfing. For the last 8 years he has been teaching surfing in Holden Beach, NC. When he’s not teaching, Rabbi€ is a hurricane and storm rider. He’s surfed the last 8 major hurricanes, and is still alive!
No matter the age, weight, or experience level, Instructor Rabbi€ can have you surfing in 30 minutes or less!
